Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster specialist to manage attorney-represented bodily injury claims in a hybrid role across WA locations. You will evaluate liability, coverage, and damages, negotiate settlements, and guide claims through to resolution with collaboration from attorneys and a supportive team.

The position offers in-office meetings about four days per month, a strong growth trajectory, and a compensation package with hourly wages and a gainshare incentive up to 16% of eligible

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling.
• This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Determines coverage and liability.
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys.
• Settle claims and set reserves.
• Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents.
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution.
• Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police.
