The Role

• Advise on real estate acquisitions and dispositions for institutional, fund and corporate clients
• Handle construction and permanent financings for both lender and borrower side engagements
• Work on joint ventures, portfolio transactions, REIT related matters and real estate funds
• Structure equity joint venture investments and oversee entity formation and governing documentation
• Engage across multiple asset classes, including residential, industrial, office, retail, hospitality and land

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid to senior level Real Estate Associate Attorney with:

• 3 to 6 years of law firm real estate experience
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions and lender and borrower side financings
• Familiarity with joint ventures, portfolio transactions, REITs and real estate funds
• New York Bar admission or eligibility to waive into New York
• Strong academic credentials from a law school ranked in the top 50
• $260,000 to $390,000 base salary, depending on experience
