Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• At least 4 years of commercial real estate experience.
• Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
• Joint venture experience preferred.
• Background from a large law firm or respected regional law firm preferred.
• Strong business judgment and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to manage matters independently and interact directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate complex purchase and sale transactions
• Represent borrowers, sponsors, and equity investors in commercial real estate financings
• Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements and related transaction documents

This is an opportunity to work directly with sophisticated borrower-side clients, including developers, sponsors, and equity investors, on complex commercial real estate transactions. The firm is experiencing significant growth and has expanded its client base, creating a need for additional talent within its real estate practice.

The successful attorney will partner closely with experienced practitioners and clients on a wide range of high-value transactions while building a long-term path toward leadership and potential equity partnership.

Position Overview

This associate will play a key role in advising clients through all stages of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Structuring and negotiating complex purchase and sale transactions
• Representing borrowers, sponsors, and equity investors in commercial real estate financings
• Drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements and related transaction documents
• Conducting due diligence and managing deal execution from inception through closing
• Advising clients on business-oriented solutions and transaction strategy

Base Salary: Compensation for this role is highly candidate specific. While the firm anticipates a general base salary range of $175,00 - $250,000 it is open to creative compensation structures for candidates bringing significant relavent experience.

Candidate Requirements
