Job summary

DM Injury Law in St. Louis is seeking an attorney to join a fast-growing personal injury firm. You will manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload, build client relationships, and negotiate with insurers to move cases toward resolution.

This role offers uncapped origination pay from day one, a base salary of $115,000–$170,000 (plus quarterly bonuses) and a dedicated support team to help you focus on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to obtain an Illinois Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity).
• Organized and self-directed approach to a high-volume caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with legal technology and case management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through demand and resolution.
• Build and maintain client relationships through consistent, proactive communication.
• Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery.
• Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with and direct paralegal and case management staff in the St. Louis office.
• Develop referral relationships that grow your book of business — and your income.

This role is based in our St. Louis office. What We're Looking For

Required

• At least one year of personal injury experience (strong candidates with relevant civil litigation background will also be considered)
