Job summary

DM Injury Law, a fast-growing Midwest personal injury firm, seeks an attorney in our Kansas City office to manage a personal injury caseload through pre-litigation with support from paralegal staff. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

You will earn uncapped origination pay from day one, with quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) matching. This role emphasizes client outcomes over billable hours and offers path to leadership.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury files through the pre-litigation claims process, supported by a dedicated paralegal and case manager.
• Interact and negotiate directly with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
• Communicate with and maintain strong relationships with English- and Spanish-speaking clients.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure accuracy and quality across all documents prepared by you and your team.
• Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Use our case management system to track case status, deadlines, and client communications.

Compensation: $115,000 – $170,000 (Base + Quarterly Performance Bonus) High performers regularly earn above this range, and total compensation has no ceiling.
