Job Details

We are seeking an Attorney with a strong background in Oil & Gas to join our dynamic Tech Services team. The role involves providing legal advice on oil and gas matters such as joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal leasing, and state leasing. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of industry legalities.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating oil and gas agreements.
• Providing legal advice on a broad range of oil and gas issues, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with other departments to identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conducting legal research and staying updated with industry legal developments.
• Representing the company in legal disputes related to oil and gas matters.
• Working with management to develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• At least 3 years of experience in oil and gas law, focusing on joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal and state leasing.
• Admission to a state bar.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
