We are seeking an Attorney with a strong background in Oil & Gas to join our dynamic Tech Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and to be part of a team that is shaping the future of the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of oil and gas matters, including joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal leasing, and state leasing. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in the field and a deep understanding of the legal complexities associated with the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of oil and gas agreements, including joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal leases, and state leases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on a broad range of oil and gas matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify potential legal issues and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated with the latest developments in oil and gas law.
• Represent the company in legal disputes or litigation related to oil and gas matters.
• Work closely with management to develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• At least 3 years of experience as an attorney in the Oil & Gas industry, focusing on joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal leasing, and state leasing.
• Admission to a state bar.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High professional ethics and integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
