Job summary

McCabe, Weisberg and Conway, LLC in Maryland is seeking a Maryland barred associate attorney for our MD office, with bar in DC/VA a plus. The role involves managing a large caseload, drafting pleadings, and appearing at hearings while communicating with clients and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Maryland barred associate attorney in our MD office.
• Diverse/minority candidates encouraged to apply.
• Six to eight years' experience with title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/or mortgage banking.

Responsibilities

• Managing and prioritizing a large caseload.
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Attending hearings and status conferences.
• Interacting with clients, opposing counsel and MWC team members.
• Providing creative solutions to complex problems to mitigate client risk.
