We Are Legal Revolution in Seattle seeks a junior to mid level Insurance Coverage and Defense Associate Attorney to join its remote Seattle office. You will handle sophisticated insurance coverage and commercial disputes for insurers and corporate clients, gaining direct partner access and broad exposure from case inception through appeal.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of litigation experience, WA admission, and strong writing/research skills, with the ability to manage deadlines while working

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of litigation experience including insurance coverage, insurance litigation, or civil defense.
• Admission to practice law in Washington state.
• Graduation from an accredited law school with a JD.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution in insurance coverage and defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and coverage-related correspondence.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and policy language.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery; review claims files and defend depositions.
• Support mediations and hearings; assist with trial preparation and strategy.

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a well established boutique litigation firm with a national insurance coverage and complex disputes platform seeking a junior to mid level Insurance Coverage and Defense Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office on a remote basis.

This role offers direct access to sophisticated insurance coverage and commercial disputes for insurer and corporate clients, with meaningful responsibility from the outset. You will work closely with experienced trial and appellate litigators on matters that run from case inception through appeal, gaining direct partner access, client exposure, and a credible platform for long term advancement.

The Role

• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution in insurance coverage and insurance defense matters
• Draft pleadings, dispositive and procedural motions, and substantive coverage and case related correspondence
• Conduct in depth legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and policy language to support strategy
• Prepare and respond to written discovery, review claims files, take and defend depositions, and support mediations and hearings
• Partner with senior lawyers on trial preparation, case strategy, and direct client and expert communications

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a junior to mid level Insurance Coverage and Defense Associate Attorney with:

• 1 to 5 years of litigation experience, ideally including insurance coverage, insurance litigation, or civil defense
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills with prior motion and discovery responsibility
• Admission to practice law in Washington and familiarity with Washington civil procedure
• A bachelors degree and graduation from an accredited law school
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities while working in office 4 days per week
• $100,000 to $150,000 base salary, depending on experience
