Job summary

Kelley Kronenberg’s Sugar Land office seeks a litigation-minded Associate Attorney to defend a broad portfolio of general liability matters. You’ll build cases from the ground up and gain real courtroom exposure early in your career in an in-person environment with senior trial attorneys.

You will manage your own docket from intake to resolution, draft pleadings and motions, take depositions, and prepare matters for mediation and trial, with mentorship and a competitive salary and comprehensive

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in general liability or defense work.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensure to practice in Texas.
• Ability to manage a docket independently while collaborating with a trial team.

Responsibilities

You will manage your own docket of general liability files from intake through resolution - developing case strategy, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing matters for mediation and trial. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior partners, you'll have consistent client contact and room to sharpen your judgment on increasingly complex disputes. Premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims will make up much of your work.
