The Opportunity

In this role, you'll take ownership of complex litigation matters while working alongside a talented team of legal professionals. You'll have the autonomy to drive case strategy, advocate for clients, and contribute to the firm's continued success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead litigation matters from initial evaluation through settlement or trial.
• Develop case strategies, prepare legal filings, and manage discovery and depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Handle disputes involving property insurance coverage, claims, and related civil litigation.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, industry professionals, and referral partners.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal matters and provide guidance to junior attorneys.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support practice growth.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate?

• Active Texas law license and Juris Doctor degree.
• Substantial experience managing litigation matters independently.
• Background in first-party property insurance litigation is highly preferred.
• Experience in commercial litigation, construction disputes, insurance defense, or complex civil litigation may also translate well.
• Confident handling depositions, discovery, motions, negotiations, and courtroom proceedings.
• Strong legal judgment, communication skills, and client management abilities.
• Interest in contributing to the long‑term growth of a successful legal practice.

An added advantage: Existing industry connections, referral relationships, leadership experience, or a portable book of business. These are valued but not mandatory.
