Job summary

Newrez LLC seeks a Recovery Attorney Performance Specialist I to aggressively pursue non-performing accounts in the legal collections inventory. The role preserves account integrity and supports the company’s ability to pursue litigation as needed.

You will work with attorneys to negotiate voluntary repayment plans and coordinate steps toward legal remedies, while maintaining high service quality and adherence to applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in the mortgage, legal, and/or collection industries.

Responsibilities

• Maximize collections in the Legal Inventory.
• Negotiate to positively impact collections.
• Review, verify and validate accounts before sending to Attorney Network after efforts exhausted.
• Work with attorneys to negotiate repayment plans or placement for legal remedies to obtain judgement.
• Meet standards and goals for servicing accounts while adhering to FDCPA guidelines and maintaining professional conduct.
• Handle inbound calls for accounts in the Legal Inventory Desks.
