The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) Headquarters, Office of General Counsel, seeks a qualified attorney who will report directly to the General Counsel.
A J.D. or LL.B. from an ABA-accredited law school is required, along with active bar membership and at least two years of professional legal experience, including one year at the GS-12 level or equivalent. This role is based in Washington, DC, and involves working closely with federal regulatory matters.

Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
