A Long Island plaintiff-side litigation practice is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney who can own cases from intake to resolution and move them forward with real results.

With full ownership of your caseload, you will handle motor vehicle, premises liability, and general negligence matters while collaborating with a trial team. Competitive compensation, full benefits, 401(k), and PTO are offered, with room to grow your practice and reputation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PI litigation experience, plaintiff-side strongly preferred.
• Deep experience with MVA and general liability matters.
• Deposition and NY courtroom experience.
• Strong negotiation and case-evaluation instincts.
• The drive to independently manage a high-volume docket.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side PI cases from inception through resolution - MVA, premises liability, general negligence, and general liability
• Build litigation strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and case value
• Draft/review pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear in court for conferences, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlements
• Negotiate directly with carriers and defense counsel
• Prepare for trial alongside the firm's trial team

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 – $250,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
