Job summary

Noon & Associates, PC, a boutique litigation firm in San Diego, CA, seeks an attorney with strong civil litigation experience and exceptional advocacy skills. You will lead cases from inception to resolution in professional liability, commercial, and tort matters, with meaningful courtroom opportunities and direct client contact.

Ideal candidates will manage cases independently while receiving mentorship and collaboration from seasoned trial attorneys.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience in California.
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, deposition, and oral advocacy skills.
• Judgment, initiative, and confidence to manage cases independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategy from inception to resolution in professional liability, commercial, and tort matters.
• Argue motions in state and federal courts; take and defend depositions; participate in arbitrations and trials.
• Serve as primary point of contact for sophisticated clients and manage client relationships with guidance from senior attorneys.
• Maintain autonomy in case management while collaborating with experienced trial attorneys for mentorship and support.

The Role:

• Own the Strategy:Take a meaningful role in sophisticated professional liability, commercial, and tort matters from inception through resolution. Develop case strategy, draft pivotal briefs, take and defend depositions, and argue motions in state and federal courts.
• Real Courtroom & Trial Experience:This is not a behind-the-scenes research and writing position. You will have meaningful opportunities to argue motions, handle depositions, participate in arbitrations and trials, and first or second chair matters based on your experience.
• Client Leadership:Serve as the primary point of contact for sophisticated clients, providing guidance, updates, and building strong relationships based on trust and expertise.
• Autonomy with Support:You will have the independence to manage your matters and make strategic decisions, while having direct access to experienced trial attorneys for collaboration, mentorship, and support when you want it.

What You Bring:

• Approximately 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience in California - We are more interested in the quality and depth of your experience than a specific year-of-practice cutoff
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, deposition, and oral advocacy skills
• The judgment, initiative, and confidence to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with a team
