Job summary

McCabe, Weisberg and Conway, LLC is seeking a Maryland-barred associate attorney for our Maryland office, with DC/VA bar a plus. Six to eight years' experience in title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/or mortgage banking is preferred.

Remote and/or Hybrid positions may be offered after the training period; the firm offers room for growth, an equity partnership track after one year for 6+ years' experience, and comprehensive benefits with no billable hours requirement.

Qualifications

• Maryland bar in good standing is required; bar in DC/VA is a plus.
• Six to eight years of experience in title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/or mortgage banking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize a large caseload.
• Draft and review pleadings to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Attend hearings and status conferences; interact with clients, opposing counsel and team.
• Provide creative solutions to mitigate client risk.

What We Need

• Seeking Maryland barred associate attorney in our MD office, DC and VA bars a plus
• Diverse/ minority candidates encouraged to apply
• Juris Doctorate and member in good standing
• Six to Eight years' experience with title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/or mortgage banking
• Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Managing and prioritizing a large caseload
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations
• Attending hearings and status conferences Interacting with clients, opposing counsel and MWC team members
• Providing creative solutions to complex problems to mitigate client risk
