Qualifications

Our client is a leading Texas litigation firm with more than 90+ attorneys statewide, with a highly respected Insurance Coverage Practice known for handling sophisticated and complex matters for some of the country’s top insurance carriers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who wants to build deep expertise in insurance coverage and appellate litigation while working directly with the firm's Managing Partner, a recognized leader in the field.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of sophisticated coverage matters, including coverage opinions, declaratory judgment actions, and bad faith litigation. Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to take an active role in complex matters, including:

• Researching and analyzing sophisticated legal and insurance coverage issues
• Drafting high‑quality legal opinions, briefs, motions, and other written work
• Evaluating cases and identifying key legal and factual issues
• Assisting with declaratory judgment actions and bad faith litigation
• Providing thoughtful legal analysis and case assessments
• Managing client reporting, billing, and important legal deadlines
• Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
• Maintaining a 180-hour monthly billable‑hour target

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of legal experience, preferably with insurance coverage experience or significant research and writing experience
• Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal procedural rules
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• A genuine interest in insurance law and complex litigation
• The ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
