LeoForce, a nationally recognized litigation-focused firm, seeks a Senior Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney in Austin, TX. You will manage high-exposure insurance defense matters from inception through resolution, representing insurers and corporate clients while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent carriers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients in complex litigation.
• Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial prep.
• Draft and argue substantive motions in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research, fact investigations, and case evaluations; prepare strategy and exposure analyses.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances; supervise junior associates and staff.

Job Details

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
• Represent insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients in complex litigation
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
• Draft and argue substantive motions in state and federal courts
• Conduct fact investigations, legal research, and case evaluations
• Prepare litigation strategy recommendations and exposure analyses
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances
• Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and risk management
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff as needed
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and effective case management
