Villatoro Executive Search is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a prestigious California trial firm. The role offers hybrid flexibility and a strong case-load across high-stakes matters.

Candidates should have 3+ years of substantive litigation experience and demonstrated trial readiness, with opportunities for first- or second-chair assignments and meaningful courtroom exposure.

Base salary ranges from $200,000 to $350,000 plus annual performance bonus and potential sign-on bonus; DOE.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage sophisticated litigation matters from inception through resolution and trial
• Develop and execute case strategy
• Handle complex discovery and take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions
• Work with expert witnesses and prepare matters for hearings and trial
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk, and settlement
• Collaborate with partners, clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

A highly respected and growing California trial firm is seeking an accomplished Litigation Attorney to join its sophisticated litigation practice.

The firm handles high-stakes matters across a broad range of practice areas and is open to exceptional litigators with 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.

Relevant Litigation Experience May Include

• Business & Commercial Litigation
• Complex Civil Litigation
• Labor & Employment Litigation
• Personal Injury & Catastrophic Injury Litigation
• Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith Litigation

Responsibilities

• Manage sophisticated litigation matters from inception through resolution and trial
• Develop and execute case strategy
• Handle complex discovery and take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions
• Work with expert witnesses and prepare matters for hearings and trial
• Advise clients regarding litigation strategy, risk, and settlement
• Work directly with partners, clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Participate meaningfully in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

Qualifications

• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience
• Strong experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated litigation matters
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• First- or second-chair trial experience strongly preferred
• Strong established law firm experience preferred
• $200,000–$350,000+ base salary DOE
