Job description

Mission Recruiting is representing a confidential Massachusetts litigation firm seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse civil defense caseload. This opportunity offers a $100,000–$150,000 salary, meaningful case ownership, direct litigation experience, and a hybrid schedule after onboarding.

The attorney will manage civil defense matters from inception through resolution while working alongside experienced litigators and developing advocacy skills across every phase of litigation.

Compensation

• $100,000–$150,000, based on experience
• Discretionary merit-based bonus

Location & Work Arrangement

Massachusetts

The position begins with onsite onboarding and transitions to a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.

Monday through Friday schedule.

About the Opportunity

Mission Recruiting's client is seeking an attorney ready to take meaningful ownership of an active civil defense caseload.

The practice is approximately 50% tort litigation and includes product liability, motor vehicle litigation, premises liability, insurance defense, and general civil litigation.

Attorneys are involved throughout the lifecycle of their matters, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, mediation, client reporting, and trial preparation.

The position carries an 1,800-hour annual billable requirement.

• Rhode Island Bar admission, particularly for junior candidates
• New Hampshire or Connecticut Bar admission
