Admittance to the Massachusetts bar is required; Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New Hampshire bar admission is preferred. Strong writing, research, and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of product liability or personal injury experience
• Active Massachusetts bar admission required
• Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New Hampshire bar admission preferred
• Experience supporting civil litigation matters from pleadings through discovery required
• Product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, or complex litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, stay organized, and contribute in a fast paced litigation environment
• Professional, responsive, team oriented approach with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support partners and senior associates on major civil litigation matters from initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, reports, and case related correspondence
• Assist with case strategy, factual investigation, legal research, document review, and witness preparation
• Manage discovery workflows, analyze records, and help develop key facts and themes for complex litigation matters
• Participate in depositions, hearings, court appearances, mediations, trial preparation as experience allows
• Work on matters involving institutional clients, product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, and other high exposure civil litigation
• Collaborate with a team that values strong writing, sharp analysis, responsiveness, and practical judgment
