Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location

Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work remotely part of the week, with at least one day per week in the office to collaborate with the team.

Note

Candidates must be admitted to practice in Massachusetts and have current litigation department experience. Admission in Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New Hampshire is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Support partners and senior associates on major civil litigation matters from initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, reports, and case related correspondence
• Assist with case strategy, factual investigation, legal research, document review, and witness preparation
• Manage discovery workflows, analyze records, and help develop key facts and themes for complex litigation matters
• Participate in depositions, hearings, court appearances, mediations, and trial preparation as experience allows
• Work on matters involving institutional clients, product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, and other high exposure civil litigation
• Collaborate with a team that values strong writing, sharp analysis, responsiveness, and practical judgment

Qualifications

• 1+ years of litigation experience, ideally in a law firm litigation department
• Active Massachusetts bar admission required
• Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New Hampshire bar admission preferred
• Experience supporting civil litigation matters from pleadings through discovery required
• Product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, or complex litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, stay organized, and contribute in a fast paced litigation environment
• Professional, responsive, team oriented approach with strong attention to detail
