Location: Manassas, VA (or within a 25-minute radius)

Base pay: $20/hour PLUS 10% commission !!

Averaging $50,000-$55,000 first-year earnings.

What do our Attic Insulation Techs do?

The primary purpose of this role is to perform crawlspaces/attics moisture work and attic insulation with some repairs. This includes vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, crawl insulation fungus treatment, and vents.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Crawl spaces work for 90% of your day
• Assist with light construction projects, including minor repairs and replacements related to pest damage
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, ensure satisfaction, and provide guidance on pest control measures
• Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal, set up and build exclusion traps, following safety protocols
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations; participate in training to enhance your skills

Essential Job Functions:

• Work around animals, insects, and termites
• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
• Set up and build exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications
• Remove animals trapped in exclusion devices
• Work safely from rooftops using safety harnesses as needed
• Complete documentation of services provided
• Handle conditions involving mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical currents, heights, fumes, dust, and chemicals safely (training provided)
• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
• Maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces
• Operate a motor vehicle safely, keep equipment clean

What do you need?

• Customer-facing experience required
• Clean-shaven face for safety reasons (to ensure proper seal of rebreathers)
• High school diploma or GED; related experience or training preferred
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Availability to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Solid communication skills (reading, writing, verbal)
• Basic math skills for mixing products and following instructions
• Licenses/certificates as required by law (covered by us)
