Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking an EDR Attendant to keep the Employee Dining Room clean and well stocked while assisting with meal service flow. You will punch meal cards and help manage the food lines to ensure smooth operations within the dining area.

High School Diploma is preferred; 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role is noted. The casino environment is fast-paced, with exposure to noise and secondhand smoke, and employment may require background checks for

Job Description

Under the direction of EDR Supervisor the EDR Attendant performs the following duties but not limited to: cleaning, stocking, and general upkeep of the Employee Dining Room to the standards of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Essential Job Functions

Essential duties are to clean, sweep, stock and keep the EDR to the standards of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino standards. The incumbent also will punch all meal cards and control flow of employees thru the food lines.

Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred but not required. 1-2 years work experience.

Work Environment

• May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
