Job Description

Responsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our Members/Guests by conducting the Golf Operations outside services efficiently.

This position reports directly to the Director of Golf or Head Golf Pro with indirect reporting to other Golf Professionals and Assistants.

Outside Services Assistant

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing warm welcomes, memorable moments, and farewells to Members/Guests by greeting them personally and professionally.
2. Assisting golfers with loading bags, cleaning clubs, and preparing for play, including offering golf etiquette suggestions.
3. Maintaining storage areas and golf cart fleet in a clean and organized manner.
4. Marshalling and assigning golf carts, and tracking their usage.
5. Helping golfers after their rounds with club cleaning and delivering clubs to their cars.
6. Promoting club events, course conditions, and amenities to enhance Member/Guest experience.
7. Keeping the practice areas well-stocked and orderly.
8. Ensuring the outside areas are clean, organized, and free of debris.
9. Collaborating with other golf staff to ensure seamless service.
10. Completing daily assignments to meet club standards.
11. Providing proactive service and assisting team members and Members/Guests as needed.
12. Reporting and addressing Member/Guest complaints promptly and effectively.
13. Interacting professionally with Members/Guests and handling last-minute requests.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Customer service experience, basic golf knowledge, and etiquette.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform ethically.
• Comfort working outdoors and indoors, exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
