Job Summary

The Golf Shop Attendant promotes the game of golf and the club while delivering the Three Steps of Service to members and guests. Responsibilities include providing quality service, managing merchandise, and overseeing golf shop operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly customer service in the pro shop, including accurate register transactions and golfer check-ins, with proper cash handling.
• Respond to inquiries and book tee times both in person and over the phone, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.
• Manage inventory, merchandise check-in, and organization of storage and display areas, ensuring stock levels of shirts, socks, gloves, hats, balls, etc.
• Assist with marshaling, starting, and outside services as needed.
• Support the Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators with shop assistance.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and basic golf knowledge.
• Ability to work comfortably indoors and outdoors, often in extreme temperatures and humidity.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
