Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking a Cleaning and Guest Services Associate to support casino operations. You will build guest relations, ensuring guests feel welcome and comfortable, while maintaining clean front and back of house areas including slot machines, floors and restrooms.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks, trash removal, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with a professional demeanor and strong teamwork and communication

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely per manufacturer instructions.
• Answer calls promptly and professionally; participate in drills.
• Know guest alcohol limitations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; adhere to policies.
• Handle guest complaints with discretion and escalate when needed.
• Work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Clean all slot machines, floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators in front and back of house areas.
• Vacuum all floors in front and back of house areas. Clean, disinfect, and restock all restrooms in front and back of house areas.
• Mop floors around the bars, restrooms, and entrances in front and back of house areas.
• Remove all trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cans in front and back of house areas and empty all trash and debris in the outside dumpsters.
• Use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
• Answer all calls promptly and professionally.
• Participate in routine drills as assigned.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
• This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
• Required to walk and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend; climb; and talk and hear. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. The team member may lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. The team member will occasionally be required to climb a ladder.
• Speech and Vision abilities are required.

Target Salary: $15.50 per hour
