Responsibilities

• Ensure proper vehicle parking and maintain a clean, presentable lot.
• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Monitor vehicle count on-site as needed.
• Issue violation warnings for policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts.
• Assist customers with parking inquiries.
• Maintain punctuality and uniform compliance.
• Assist customers and escalate to management when necessary.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
• Assist in maintenance and repairs of parking equipment.
• Report accidents, violations, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate issues such as spills to the garage office.
• Substitute for Valets if authorized.
• Know all garage areas and local landmarks.
• Assist the Facility Manager as needed.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.

• Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record if driving is required.
• Availability for various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, especially with money.
• Maintain a neat appearance and uniform at all times.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, handle equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Additional Information

Salary: $20.50/hour
