Job summary

Boerne ISD's Viola Wilson Elementary School is seeking a Secretary Attendance to maintain attendance records and enter PEIMS data under supervision. You will support parents, students, and staff with attendance-related inquiries and ensure accurate, auditable records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be able to work with the campus database, and communicate in English (Spanish preferred). Position is full-time, non-exempt, with local funding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; fingerprinting background check.
• Proficient in Google Drive and Google programs (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter attendance and PEIMS data accurately in the campus database.
• Assist parents, students, and staff with attendance questions.
• Contact parents/guardians to verify absences and report issues to the administrator.
• Compile, file, and distribute reports, records, and documents.
• Answer incoming calls and route messages to appropriate staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies.
