Muskegon Heights Public School Academy is seeking an Attendance Liaison to implement the district attendance policy, oversee Operation Graduation and work with students, parents, and teachers to monitor and support the improvement of school attendance.

The role includes monitoring attendance records daily, preparing and distributing reports, and supporting tiered attendance initiatives within the district.

Competenze

• Previous office experience preferred.
• Three or more years of recent classroom/school system experience.
• Strong community relationships.

Mansioni

• Monitors all student attendance records using a computer on a daily basis.
• Responds to inquiries from students, teachers, and parents regarding attendance rules and absences.
• Compiles and submits a variety of daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end reports working with truancy liaison as required.
• Prepares attendance verification forms for teachers for individual class periods.
• Verify excuses by handwriting comparison, or by contacting parents, or by other approved methods.
