Job summary

AWP Safety is hiring Traffic Control Flagger to establish safe work zones and manage traffic flow using stop/slow paddles. This entry-level role requires no college degree and offers ongoing training to advance within the company.

You will work outdoors, read plans, and perform pre/post-trip inspections while maintaining safety for workers and the public. Training, PPE, and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test.
• ATSSA Flagger Certification required.
• No experience necessary. Training and Development will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining safe work zones using the proper equipment.
• Managing traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Set-up barricades/cones and related signage for safe work zones.
• Delivering exceptional service and protection to clients.
• Be able to read and understand plans and instructions for work zones.
• Make field adjustments to keep projects safe for customers and the public.
• Perform pre and post-trip vehicle/equipment inspections.
