An aviation training organization in Washington DC is looking for a Flight Instructor to conduct comprehensive flight training, including classroom and simulator sessions. The ideal candidate will have significant aviation experience, possess an ATP certificate, and demonstrate effective training capabilities. This role requires a Bachelor’s in aviation or equivalent experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and excellent training delivery.
Qualifications
5 years of working experience in the aviation industry.
2 years of experience as a pilot for a Part 121 air carrier.
Possess an ATP certificate with an ERJ170/190 Type Rating.
Minimum age of 21.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
Conduct academic ground training events.
Train flight crew members in classroom settings.
Make recommendations for training program development.
Ensure training environment is prepared correctly.
Help ensure technical accuracy of training materials.
Skills
Knowledge of Crew Resource Management
Effective training methods
Ability to facilitate relationships
Technical presentation skills
Education
