Job summary

A leading aviation training company is seeking an experienced Flight Instructor to deliver exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction. The role requires a valid ATP certificate and participation in drug testing. As an instructor, you will conduct training sessions, evaluate trainee progress, and develop materials that align with aviation regulations. Candidates with military training or extensive flight hours are preferred for this position located in Dallas, Texas.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unrestricted ATP certificate or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License.
• Must be able and willing to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
• Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients.
• Develop and prepare training materials according to the curriculum.
• Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend qualification.

Skills

Knowledge of aviation safety standards and practices

Ability to manage classes and teach effectively

First-level customer service skills

Ability to be coachable and receive feedback
