Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years in atomization
  • Experience with vacuum induction gas atomization and related equipment repair
  • Knowledge of safety, handling of fine powders and related procedures
  • Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) is a plus
  • Proven leadership in people and project management

Responsibilities

  • Bring forward innovative atomization solutions to improve yield, gas use, and equipment uptime
  • Research, design, and test solutions; collaborate with plant engineering for implementation
  • Provide technical leadership to resolve production issues with atomization equipment
  • Address safety, quality, and productivity issues with corrective actions
  • Collaborate with the 3D printing lab to develop innovative 3D printed solutions
