Job summary

Drsecurityok is seeking a Transport Driver in Atoka, OK to deliver clients to needed care within and outside the contracted area. You will be the main in-person representative, delivering excellent customer service to facility staff, clients, and families in a mental health setting.

The role involves long and short-distance driving, data entry into Samsara, and maintaining logs. Applicants should have a valid license, a clean driving record, and be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes and schedules with dispatchers.
• Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trip to destination facility.
• Maintain detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Ensure mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected promptly, reporting defects, accidents, and violations immediately.
• Perform daily maintenance of vehicle (refueling, cleaning, snacks/water, etc.).
• Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner.
• Address problems and create solutions, collaborating with Dispatcher and elevating problems to Field Supervisor when necessary.
• Enter data into Samsara system, maintain logs of calls, incidents, miles driven and more, submitting reports monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to update and maintain a list of facility contacts.
• Drive excellence by creating efficiencies that will reduce the arrival time for transports (under the 2-hour maximum). Report all overages to Field Supervisor.
