• Perform daily vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
• Interact professionally with staff, clients, and families.
• Enter data into Samsara; submit monthly reports.
• Collaborate with Ops Director and Field Supervisors on contacts.
• Improve transport efficiency to reduce arrival times under 2 hours.

Job Details: Job Location: Woodward - Woodward, OK, Position Type: Full Time, The Transport Driver plays a key role in our work of transporting clients to needed care within and outside our contracted area. They are often the only in-person representative of the company, providing excellent customer service to facility staff, clients and family members in a mental health setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes and schedules with dispatchers.
• Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trip to destination facility.
• Maintain detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Ensure mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected promptly, reporting defects, accidents, and violations immediately.
• Perform daily maintenance of vehicle (refueling, cleaning, snacks/water, etc.)
• Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner.
• Address problems and create solutions, collaborating with Dispatcher and elevating problems to Field Supervisor when necessary.
• Enter data into Samsara system, maintain logs of calls, incidents, miles driven and more, submitting reports monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to update and maintain a list of facility contacts.
• Drive excellence by creating efficiencies that will reduce the arrival time for transports (under the 2-hour maximum). Report all overages to Field Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in English (oral and written); active listener.
• Tech-savvy, good typing skills, and experience with data entry.
• Ability to work nights, weekends with flexible hours as needed.
• Operate in highly stressful situations from both internal and external sources, adapting and making decisions as needed.
• Ability to multi-task, interpreting on-going problems and suggesting possible solutions.
• Prior law enforcement, military, dispatch, logistics or mental health experience helpful, but not required.
