Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a Technical Engineer to support, deploy, and maintain vendor ATM software platforms and related technologies across the enterprise. You will help automate deployments, enhance reliability, and enable critical banking services for customers.

Ideal candidates have experience in Windows-based enterprise environments, scripting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver technology initiatives in a financial services context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined education and/or work experience in systems design, management or architecture.
• Systems administration experience in Windows enterprise environments.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
• Scripting skills with PowerShell or Batch to automate deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support complex infrastructure and applications.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with Technology management and senior engineers to implement technical solutions.
• Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and support ATM software platforms and related tech.
• Support ATM monitoring, deposit management, and related ops tech.
• Perform software deployment, platform upgrades, patching, and remediation activities.
• Use PowerShell and other automation tools to support deployment and maintenance.
• Conduct configuration management, policy administration, networking support, and Windows platform support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, platform, infrastructure, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with partners, vendors, and engineers to implement initiatives.
