Job summary

Westamerica Bank is seeking an ATM Central Processing Specialist to board and process ATM claims, verify transactions, and support multiple departments. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with banking regulations.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of banking operations experience and proficiency with Excel and Word, plus basic PC skills. This on-site position includes handling settlements and participating in special projects within a collaborative

Qualifications

Must be detail oriented to ensure all facts have been discovered and effects of recommendations have been identified.
Two-to-three years’ progressive experience in banking operations desired.
Must possess strong PC and math skills with a working knowledge of TS, Excel and Word software. Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

Board and process all ATM related claims.
Maintain a working knowledge of Visa and Star's claim regulations, Federal Regulation E and Z, and the Bank's policies and procedures resolving disputed transactions.
Make outbound phone calls to customers in order to verify ATM transactions.
Independently provide technical and analytical support to various departments and branches.
Performs ATM settlement and research.
Participates in other special projects and performs other job-related duties.
