Job summary

Westamerica Bancorporation, one of the largest commercial banks headquartered in California, is seeking an ATM Central Processing Specialist to join our winning team. This role supports ATM operations and claims processing with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

You will board and process ATM-related claims, verify transactions, and provide technical support across departments. Weekly hours are 40, with a climate of confidentiality and integrity in a formal banking environment.

Qualifications

• Two-to-three years’ progressive experience in banking operations.
• Strong PC and math skills with working knowledge of TS, Excel, and Word software.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills are required.
• Must be detail oriented and maintain confidentiality of data and individuals opening claims.

Responsibilities

• Board and process all ATM related claims.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Visa and Star's claim regulations, Federal Regulation E and Z, and the Bank's policies and procedures resolving disputed transactions.
• Make outbound phone calls to customers in order to verify ATM transactions.
• Independently provide technical and analytical support to various departments and branches.
• Performs ATM settlement and research.
• Participates in other special projects and performs other job-related duties.
