Job summary

Westamerica Bank is seeking an ATM Central Processing Specialist in California. The role involves processing ATM-related claims, ensuring compliance with Visa/Star regulations and Reg E/Z, and resolving disputed transactions.

You will verify ATM activity by calling customers and provide technical support across departments. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in banking operations, strong PC/math skills, and excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

Two-to-three years’ progressive experience in banking operations.
Must possess strong PC and math skills with a working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills are required.
Must be detail oriented to ensure all facts have been discovered and confidentiality of data maintained.

Responsibilities

Board and process all ATM related claims.
Maintain knowledge of Visa and Star's claim regulations, Federal Regulation E and Z, and bank policies and procedures resolving disputed transactions.
Make outbound calls to customers to verify ATM transactions.
Independently provide technical and analytical support to various departments and branches.
Perform ATM settlement and research.
Participate in other special projects and performs other job-related duties.
