Job summary

Northwest Bank in Erie, PA seeks an Item Processing Analyst to oversee daily administration of the Item Processing Department, including ATM deposits, fraud prevention tools, and general ledger reconciliation. The role supports branch offices and other departments, reviews data, and develops reports to drive process improvements.

The analyst will gather complex data to improve processes, monitor system performance, and participate in special projects, with potential travel and a shift

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years Item Processing experience.
  • 3–5 years related banking experience with heavy concentration in business/system analysis and operations/compliance.
  • 5–6 years experience performing system testing, procedure writing, and participating in product development X

Responsibilities

  • Prepare departmental reports and analysis.
  • Monitor operations/maintenance of Item Processing Systems and ATM/VTM/TCRs; coordinate with personnel or vendors to resolve issues.
  • Identify and resolve Customer Service issues.
  • Collaborate with business leads to understand current deposit process functionality.
  • Write and publish processes and procedures.
  • Research and evaluate training opportunities/activities.
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines and protect the institution from loss.
