Job summary

Quality Data Systems Inc in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair cash automation equipment across a 100-mile radius while building lasting relationships with clients. You will travel to sites, perform software/hardware upgrades, diagnose issues, and provide preventative maintenance.

A valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset are essential; on-call evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years of field service technician experience is preferred.
• Experience with installation or repair of cash automation equipment or POS systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair cash automation equipment within a 100-mile radius of Knoxville.
• Upgrade software and hardware; diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and on-call evening/weekend coverage.
• Communicate effectively with customers and QDS team members.
