Job summary

You will work with limited supervision, order equipment and supplies as needed, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining safety and accurate records. High school diploma and 1 year repair experience required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of prior service repair experience required.
• Technicians will need to occasionally upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions.
• Specific abilities include adapting to changing work priorities and working both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Repairs printed circuit boards (PCB) and peripherals to factory condition.
• Diagnoses cause of electrical problems to identify repair and replacement needs.
• Replaces electrical components with solder (lead and lead-free).
• Uses test equipment and electronics principles to diagnose failures.
• Documents findings and labor in the data collection system.
• Requests equipment and supplies to maintain inventory for repairs.
• Works under limited supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
