Job summary

Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Atlassian Platform Engineer to support the Digital Workplace workforce in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid with 1 day onsite and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

The engineer will configure, integrate, and sustain Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and related Atlassian tools to enable agile delivery, collaboration, and knowledge management for government projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
5+ years supporting enterprise software platforms and collaboration tools.
3+ years configuring Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management.
Atlassian administration certification or training.
Experience with government, Agile, DevSecOps, or ITSM environments.
Experience with Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Atlassian marketplace apps.

Responsibilities

Configure Jira projects, workflows, screens, fields, schemes, boards, filters, dashboards, and automations.
Support Jira Service Management setup, queues, SLAs, and knowledge integration.
Implement platform standards, governance, naming conventions, permissions, and access controls.
Troubleshoot platform issues and explain configuration impacts.
Assist with CI/CD, ServiceNow, identity platforms, reporting, and collaboration system integrations.
Maintain documentation, support procedures, and user guidance.
