Enterprise Atlassian Engineer

This hands‑on role supports enterprise‑level Jira and Confluence administration for a high‑visibility national security mission. The Engineer will partner with mission, security, IT, and operations teams to deliver resilient, secure, and high‑performing Atlassian solutions that support federal public safety and national security objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and scale Jira, Confluence, JSM, and Crowd for daily enterprise operations.
• Triage and resolve support tickets—from access requests to advanced configuration changes.
• Improve workflows, fields, dashboards, reports, templates, and permission models.
• Manage marketplace apps, including installs, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance checks.
• Oversee access and identity via Crowd, Microsoft Entra ID, and SSO integrations.
• Run platform operations: upgrades, patches, deployments, backups, logging, and monitoring.
• Support compliance needs, including ATO documentation, audits, and configuration baselines.

What You Bring (Required Qualifications)

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum 5 years supporting enterprise IT platforms or collaboration ecosystems.
• Hands‑on experience administering enterprise Jira, Confluence, and Crowd with focus on workflow design, automations, and plugin management.
• Familiarity with Linux administration, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and FISMA/ATO compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; excels in stakeholder engagement and cross‑team collaboration.
• Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, dynamic environments; able to prioritize and deliver under shifting mission needs.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe; able to configure tools to reflect best practice delivery models and ceremonies.
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC (5 days/week).

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience in federal/high security or multi‑enclave environments.
• Experience integrating AI‑enabled capabilities (e.g., classifiers, intelligent routing) into enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Willingness to undergo CI‑poly training.

Security Clearance Requirement

Must possess active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role.

Compensation

Typical salary range starts at $120,000 and may extend to $150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
