Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a seasoned benefits compliance professional to support the Atlantic Region. The role provides guidance on compliance with ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related laws, translating complex requirements for brokers, consultants, and employer clients.

Based on East Coast proximity, the candidate will train and assist across the region, including seminars and webinars, with a focus on clear communication and integrity in all matters.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of laws and regulations governing health and welfare plans.
• Ability to explain compliance to internal/external stakeholders in plain language.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Prior experience with regulatory bodies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform benefits compliance checklist reviews for key and national account clients.
• Respond to benefits compliance questions in a timely manner.
• Stay abreast of changing legislative and regulatory landscape affecting the Region.
• Attend Benefits Compliance Team meetings regularly.
• Attend regional and office-specific meetings regularly.
• Own or co-own regional compliance initiatives with sales and account teams.
• Educate account teams and clients on compliance initiatives and resources.
• Conduct or support benefits compliance seminars and webinars.
• Contribute to the overall mission of the Benefits Compliance Department.
