Job summary

Associa, the nation’s largest community management company, seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to support communities along the Atlantic Coast. You will drive growth by identifying opportunities, building trusted partnerships, and delivering solutions aligned with client and organizational goals.

The role emphasizes strategic relationship-building, cross-functional collaboration with leadership, and traveling across the Atlantic Coast Region to expand revenue and improve client

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of directly related or closely related business development, sales, account management, or community management experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of management and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success developing relationships, generating new business, and achieving revenue goals.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned Atlantic Coast Region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and develop new and existing referral sources to establish and maintain successful, long-term referral relationships.
• Proactively identify and generate new business prospects through strategic sales initiatives focused on targeted markets and customer segments.
• Develop and execute business development strategies designed to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to support client retention, identify additional business opportunities, and generate referrals and references.
• Partner with internal leaders and cross-functional teams to develop effective business solutions that meet client needs and support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with business development and operational leaders to define project scope, review requirements, establish timelines, and monitor progress.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the community management industry.
• Represent Associa professionally within the marketplace and build strong relationships with community leaders, industry professionals, and other key stakeholders.
