6 Degrees Search represents a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney in Atlanta. The role is hybrid, focusing on sophisticated employment matters in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of labor and employment experience, strong litigation skills, and a JD from a top-tier law school with Georgia bar admission. Experience at a large firm is preferred and candidates will advise on risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing.
• 3–8 years of substantive labor and employment law experience.
• Significant experience in employment litigation, including matters in state and federal courts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Experience at a large or well-regarded law firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters, from inception through resolution, including single-plaintiff and complex disputes.
• Represent management in employment-related claims before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and participate in depositions and hearings.
• Advise clients on day-to-day employment issues and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop litigation strategy and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.
