Job summary

Athena Farms is seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative for the Atlanta market, focusing on growing foodservice sales in an assigned territory in the Forest Park/Atlanta area. A strong foodservice or restaurant background is highly valued, with emphasis on building relationships and taking initiative.

You will prospect for new customers, maintain accounts, and travel within the territory to drive growth, while coordinating with customer service and operations teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Foodservice or restaurant background required or valued.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, when needed to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers through cold calling and other business-development activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing foodservice accounts.
• Conduct regular weekly visits with existing customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth.
• Build pricing and customer-specific order guides.
• Promote Athena Farms’ products and services to current and prospective customers.
• Work closely with customers to provide solutions and deliver exceptional service.
• Communicate with customers regarding accounts receivable and assist with collections as necessary.
• Complete light administrative and sales-related tasks.
• Attend company sales meetings, customer events, and other business-related activities.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory using a personal vehicle.
