Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four to six years of job-related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings, mechanical systems, project manuals, and project submissions.
• Experience managing small-to-medium scale renovation projects, project negotiation, and project scheduling.
• Willingness to travel within Metro Atlanta and Cobb/Marietta campuses, with possible out-of-state trips.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning exercises for capital investment projects; provide assessments for MR&R as needed.
• Oversee lifecycle replacement schedule for flooring, paint, and lighting in assigned buildings.
• Develop Scope of Work (SOW) and conduct pre-construction meetings; review requirements with contractor reps; issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and institute partners for project execution.
• Review project scopes and plans to ensure alignment with objectives; supervise and monitor schedule and compliance.
• Conduct periodic inspections to ensure work meets standards and contract requirements; report on contractor performance.
• Coordinate with units and institute partners for IT, FFE moves, office relocations, and utility shutdowns.
• Assist EH&S with room inspections and coordinate repairs/remediation with facilities.
